The Vancouver Office of McCarthy Tétrault LLP seeks a highly-motivated associate to join our Financial Services Group, which is a specialty practice area within our National Business Law Group.

The ideal candidate will be qualified to practice law in British Columbia and have the following credentials:

• Between 3-5 years of post-call financial services experience including acquisition financings, corporate lending transactions, project financings and other debt financing transactions;
• Excellent academic and professional credentials;
• Strong analytical, communication and drafting skills; and
• Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and client service excellence.

Salary range for years 3 to 5: $142K to $175K

Our clients include foreign and domestic banks, insurance companies, near banks, finance companies, leading financial sponsors and asset managers, smaller financial services companies, institutional investors, borrowers and project developers.
