Adil is an associate in the Business Law Group in Toronto. He maintains a general corporate and commercial practice, with experience in mergers and acquisitions, capital markets, and technology matters. Adil has assisted both public and private clients in several industries, such as: food and beverage; cannabis; retail; technology; and energy.

Adil joined the firm as a summer student in 2021 and completed his articles with the firm in 2023. As an articling student, Adil was seconded to Nestlé Canada Inc., where he supported the company’s legal team with various corporate and transactional mandates.

Adil earned his Juris Doctor with the Business Law Area of Concentration at Western University’s Faculty of Law. While at law school, Adil worked as a case manager for Sport Solution, a legal clinic serving Canadian national athletes. Adil was also president of the Western Law French Society and a mentor in the South Asian Law Students’ Association. Prior to law school, Adil completed a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy, Political Science, and Sociology at McGill University. While there, Adil was a writer and editor for a popular student-run publication. 

Adil was called to the Ontario bar in 2023 and is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and the South Asian Bar Association.
