With tireless determination, Angelica puts her full spectrum of legal knowledge to work while staying laser-focused on achieving clients’ end goals.

Angelica is an associate in our Bankruptcy and Restructuring and Litigation groups. Practicing in Vancouver, she provides clients with advice and clarity on legal issues that fall within the realms of insolvency, bankruptcy and restructuring, financial, as well as corporate and commercial disputes. Angelica appreciates connecting with clients to better understand their legal issues, as this allows her to effectively plan and shift to meet that client’s unique needs and goals.

Angelica has experience acting for debtors, companies, major financial institutions, receivers, trustees in bankruptcy, and other creditors both secured and unsecured. She has supported clients through civil proceedings, complex commercial and corporate collections, priority disputes, foreclosure proceedings, bankruptcy proceedings and has frequently appeared in both the Provincial and Supreme Courts of British Columbia.

Angelica obtained her Juris Doctor from Thompson Rivers University Faculty of Law in 2021 where she was named valedictorian of her graduating class. During her legal studies, Angelica enjoyed being involved and worked as a supplemental learning leader assisting first year students in Constitutional Law and acted as the student representative on the TRU Law Admissions Committee. Angelica was awarded course prizes for achieving the highest grade in the Constitutional Law, Indigenous Peoples and Canadian Law, and Creditors’ Remedies courses. She also participated in representing TRU Law in the Wilson Moot. Prior to law school, Angelica completed a Bachelor of Arts (Psychology Hons.) from Thompson Rivers University in 2017.

Prior to joining the firm, Angelica practiced litigation as an associate at a regional firm in Kamloops, British Columbia. Angelica was called to the bar in British Columbia in 2022 and is a member of the Law Society of British Columbia.
