François is a master's candidate at Harvard Law School. He holds a law degree with honors from Université de Montréal, where he previously studied psychology and sociology. He will be articling with McCarthy Tétrault in 2026.

François is passionate about the law, having worked as a research assistant to Professor Hugo Tremblay in environmental law and as a volunteer clerk at the Court of Québec. He received numerous awards for academic excellence during his studies.

In addition to his studies, François has been an infantry soldier with the Primary Reserve in the Canadian Armed Forces for over 8 years, holding the rank of sergeant. His military career has enabled him to take on many challenges and give back to Canada, for example by providing direct patient care as part of Operation Laser in support of Quebec's long-term care centres (CHSLDs) in 2020. He is also an airplane pilot, having obtained a commercial pilot's license as part of an aircraft piloting technical program at CEGEP de Chicoutimi.

A keen sportsman, François is an avid long-distance runner and amateur mixed martial arts fighter.
