On March 5, 2019, Barcodes Group, through its subsidiary, OCR Canada Ltd., acquired QSG. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Barcodes Group, a portfolio company of Odyssey Investment Partners, provides barcode, mobile computing and RFID solutions to a variety of industries throughout North America. Headquartered in Chicago, its products include barcode scanners, mobile computers, fixed barcode scanners, barcode verifiers, asset tracking software and inventory software.

QSG is a Quebec-based specialty systems integrator focused on field and supply chain management. Its solutions include asset tracking and management, field mobility, consumables and printers, Internet of Things, mobile data and analytics and networks and security architecture.

McCarthy Tétrault LLP advised Barcodes Group with a team led by Patrick M.
