On October 6, 2023, Sagard Private Equity Canada ("Sagard") completed its investment in the share capital of Groupe Norbec Inc. ("Norbec"). The Norbec management team will be the leading shareholder group, as well as Desjardins Capital, Sagard and Norbec's founder.  

Sagard, based in Montreal, Quebec, is a Canadian private equity firm focusing on the business and financial services and manufacturing sectors.

Norbec, headquartered in Boucherville, Quebec, is a manufacturer of prefabricated cold rooms, insulated doors, and insulated metal panels for building envelopes.
